Our Founder

David Dunn
David Dunn is a NFL alum, coach, and community leader dedicated to empowering inner-city youth in San Diego, CA. As the founder of the Day II Day Foundation, he has made it his mission to mentor and guide the youth, equipping them with the life skills, education, and support needed to succeed both on and off the field. Through the Day II Day Foundation, he provides at risk youth with academic support, leadership training, and guidance as they transition into adulthood. His work has transformed lives, fostering a culture of discipline, resilience, and opportunity for the next generation.

A standout athlete himself, David played college football at Bakersfield Junior College before transferring to Fresno State University. His talent and determination led him to a successful seven-season career in the NFL. However, his greatest legacy is not what he accomplished on the field but the impact he continues to make in his community.
